Navigating the Secret Chamber Traps
Accessing the secret chamber requires reaching the lower levels of the Creche area and rotating twin statues to unlock the hidden doorway. Once inside, your party will face magical barriers created by energy source crystals. Distant attacks, such as arrows or force spells, can quickly shatter these crystals to drop the barriers.
Between the energy barriers, deadly force wave traps line the corridor. A rogue can disarm these mechanisms safely, or party members can time their movement carefully to slip past. Clearing all barriers opens up the central pedestal housing the holy relic.
Inserting the Crest and Collecting Rewards
At the center of the chamber stands the pedestal holding the Blood of Lathander legendary mace. Interacting with the crest panel slot allows you to insert the Dawnmaster Crest. This disables the destructive emergency destruction system and cleanly unlocks the protective field.
The primary reward for completing this puzzle is the Blood of Lathander mace. This incredible weapon provides a powerful passive aura that blinds nearby fiends and undead. Furthermore, it offers a high-level Sunbeam spell and an automatic revive effect when down in battle.
